The Champion within...

There are some well-known facts about me. One of them is that I adore Lance. And I'm upset that most people don't. So here, eat this. xD

Lance from my Pokemon AU is a mix of the HGSS Lance and the PokeSpe Lance. I took the best attributes of the two and put them together to create this guy. So he's young, his hair color is somewhere between the HGSS red and PokeSpe orange. As a champ he wears the HGSS suit while this here is his civilian outfit taken from PokeSpe (but the cap and the resultant hairstyle is my personal touch). His cape is blue(outside) and red(inside) as it's in HGSS (while in PokeSpe he wears red/white cape on this particular outfit). He's calm, laid back man who is used to be the brightest around (since he's the champ... and the Blackthorn Dragon Master... and a prodigy in general...) so he tends not to take others all that seriously unless they prove they deserve it. However, he's not offensive in his arrogance, he's more of a patronizing person in this matter.

He's the Titular Champion of Johto and Kanto which means his position is stable, he doesn't loose it by being defeated by a challenger. And there can be only one challenger per year. If the winner of the Pokemon League manages to get past the Elite Four, they are then allowed to face the Titular Champion and by defeating him they acquire the title of the Reigning Champion (lifelong title). Titular and Reigning champions are something like the Avengers of the universe, gathered under the flag of PAF - Pokemon Authority Force.

Oh, and his Dragonite is called Odin and has that significant pointy shape of his antennae.
